What we do NOT do
Though we are, in a way, a web agency, because the services and software we deliver take the form of web sites, we concentrate on application-intensive projects.
As a rule, we do not do projects whose value we are not convinced. In particular we do not do the following:
-
Cool designs
We simply are not interested in creating web sites where the chief requirement is a cool design. Because we think that visitors to a site want content and functionality, not just fancy graphics. And also because others are much better than we are in cool design. Like Jakob Nielsen, we think Flash is 99% bad and do not do it. -
Desktop applications
Although the set of technologies we use would allow us to develop desktop applications (ie applications that users have to install on their PC), we do not do them. We prefer to concentrate in projects where web-based applications have an advantage over desktop applications.
